The Master aims to provide the skills necessary to carry out the profession of Musical Assistant Répétiteur pianist. The preparation and staging of an opera or ballet requires a musician capable of performing many functions. The Musical Assistant is in fact a professional figure that requires a wide knowledge of the musical repertoire, solid competence in the field of artistic voice both in its technical and interpretative aspects, ability to adapt to the unexpected and unpredictable needs of a production. The Musical Assistant must be able to direct the band on stage, accompany the singers during rehearsals and stage them, accompany the choir, carry out the precious task of prompter. The teaching path of the Masters includes both in-class lectures and workshops with renowned professionals. There are also internships and assistantships at associated theaters and festivals such as: Arena of Verona, Teatro alla Scala, Teatro Regio di Parma, Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro La Fenice of Venice, Rossini Opera Festival of Pesaro, Macerata Opera Festival, Puccini Festival of Torre del Lago, Real Theater of Madrid, Teatro dell’Opera of Rome, Teatro Regio of Turin, Festival of Aix en Provence, Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Valle d’Itria Festival in Martina Franca and many others, both in Italy and abroad.
